Flern 'Legs' O'Kraken - Legendary running back during the late 1930's, Flern was known for his bone crushing runs.

The announcer would whip the home town crowd into a frenzy by screaming "RELEASE THE KRAKEN" as the quarterback would hand it off to Flern.
